Breaking: Net neutrality upheld in federal court

Consumer advocates are celebrating a major victory today. Net neutrality was upheld in federal court.

The Washington Post reports (Cable and telecom companies just lost a huge court battle on net neutrality): By a 2-1 vote Tuesday, a federal appeals court upheld a series of strict new rules for Internet providers, handing a major victory to regulators in the fight over net neutrality and ensuring that one of the most sweeping changes to hit the industry in recent years will likely remain on the books.

This is great news. We thank the thousands of CUB Action Network members who sent messages to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 2014 and 2015 to fight to protect the Internet. This victory is proof that hard work pays off.
