Peoples Gas, North Shore Gas and ComEd have all partnered to bring homeowners free and discounted energy-saving products to reduce their home’s energy and water use.
Participants will receive a free personalized home energy assessment along with the installation of discounted energy-saving products:
- Programmable thermostat
- WaterSense® certified showerheads
- Pipe insulation
- Smart powerstrips
- High-efficiency faucet aerators
- ENERGY STAR® certified CFLs
Also, ENERGY STAR® certified LEDs and select smart thermostats are available for purchase at a discount and include FREE installation
Homeowners who live in Northern Illinois and own single-family homes, two-flats, individually-metered condos and townhomes are eligible to sign up. Renters can also take advantage of the energy efficiency programs with permission from their landlord.
