DeKalb County Earth Fest
This year, Earth Fest has expanded to include morning and afternoon learning/networking sessions which bookend the midday community expo with food trucks and a cash bar.
Morning sessions will focus on energy solutions specifically designed for businesses, municipalities, nonprofits, churches, and residents. Afternoon sessions will center around rewilding and sustainable food systems.
Presenters include Trane Technologies, GoSolar 815, City of DeKalb, Science on Sphere, various NIU departments and student groups, and Chicago’s Wild Mile – The World’s First Ever Floating Eco-Park. The event will conclude with a social/networking hour, cash bar and “Trashion Show”.
